NSW Members Evening ft. Melos Sulicich F FIN

FINSIA invites you to join us for the New South Wales Members Evening 2025 - an evening of networking, professional insights, and connection with peers across the financial services community.

This year, we are honoured to welcome Melos Sulicich F FIN, former Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Sydney, a respected leader with extensive experience across Australia’s banking and financial services landscape, as our keynote speaker.

Melos brings a wealth of leadership and board experience, having served as Managing Director and CEO of MyState Ltd, CEO of RAMS Financial Group, and Non-Executive Director at Challenger Bank Limited and the Australian Banking Association Limited, where he contributed to the Audit, Risk and Finance Committees. His deep expertise in driving growth, transformation, and performance in dynamic financial markets has made him a trusted voice in the sector.

With qualifications including a Bachelor of Business from the University of South Australia and a Master of Laws from UNSW, Melos is also a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a FINSIA Fellow (F FIN).

Melos will share his perspectives on leadership, strategy, and the future of banking in an evolving regulatory and technological environment - offering valuable insights drawn from decades of executive experience.

We are pleased to confirm that Paul Riordan F FIN from the FINSIA board will also be in attendance to meet members and guests.

Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bank of Sydney Australia.

Melos has extensive Australian and international experience within a number of leadership and Board positions.

He has proven experience in delivering growth with deep expertise in the banking and financial services sector. His key leadership roles have included; Managing Director and CEO of MyState Ltd, CEO RAMS Financial Group, Non-Executive Director Challenger Bank Limited (member Audit Committee and Risk Committee), Non-Executive Director Australian Banking Association Limited (member Finance, Audit and Risk Committee).

Melos holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of South Australia (BBus), a Master of Laws from UNSW (LLM) is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), and FINSIA Fellow (F FIN).
